Job summary

Prosper Consulting is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead capital projects across heritage, healthcare and education sectors. The role involves delivering projects to Practical Completion with NEC contracts, mentoring junior staff, and occasional travel regionally and nationally from Central London (Farringdon).

You will join a growing team with a strong sustainability focus and a flexible/remote working culture (2-3 days in the office).

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ experience with a UK based property/construction consultancy
• Experience in refurbishment/conversion/extension/new build across sectors
• Experience delivering projects through to Practical Completion and contract administration (NEC preferred)

The Client:

An established SME consultancy with multiple offices across the UK and over 25 years of successfully delivering projects. They have strong sustainability credentials and a commitment to making a positive impact on the industry.

Offering services such as: Project Management, Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying, Design, Architecture and Sustainability.

The Role:

As Senior Project Manager, you will lead in the development and delivery of capital projects. The role will include some travel across London and the South East and on occasion to elsewhere in the UK.

You will work on various schemes including some of the country’s most important museums and significant heritage buildings and critical NHS projects to improve hospital capacity in London.

In addition, there will also be local authority refurbishment and education projects - values range between £100K - £100M.

Office Location: Central London (Farringdon)

Head Count: 70+

Requirements for the Senior Project Manager:

• 4+ years’ experience with a UK based property / construction consultancy
• Have a strong technical experience of refurbishment/conversion/extension/new build, possibly from a building surveying, quantity surveying, architectural, or engineering background
• Have experience of contract administration (ideally NEC)
• Have a particular focus on driving projects through delivery to Practical Completion
• Ideally chartered (MRICS OR MCIOB)
• Experience in one of their listed sectors (ideally)
• Thrive as part of a growing team, helping to mentor junior consultants and apprentices
