Job summary

South East Water UK is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead a flagship water infrastructure programme in the UK, including a new reservoir, treatment works, pipelines and pumping stations. You will own delivery across a ~£500m portfolio, administer NEC contracts within PPP/PFI frameworks, and drive risk, quality and stakeholder governance from concept to completion.

Reporting to the Head of Major Projects, you will align multi‑disciplinary teams, ensure on‑time and on‑budget delivery, and

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• NEC3/NEC4 project management accreditation or demonstrable NEC4 experience.
• PM qualification and/or chartered status is preferred.
• Track record delivering large infrastructure on time and within budget.
• Strong HSE, CDM 2015 knowledge and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the lifecycle of a multi‑faceted clean water infrastructure programme.
• Govern contracts, manage compensation events, and ensure governance and approvals.
• Coordinate risk, quality, safety, and stakeholder engagement across teams.
• Align engineering, contractor partners, and regulators for seamless delivery.
