Job summary

South East Water is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a high-value capital infrastructure project from inception to handover. You will coordinate a cross-functional team, manage NEC-based contracts, and engage stakeholders including regulators and authorities.

The role emphasizes safe delivery, on-time completion, and within budget, with accountability for cost, risk, and quality. A strong focus on governance and reporting to senior management is required.

Qualifications

• Experience managing large-scale capital infrastructure projects through full lifecycle.
• Proven NEC3/NEC4 contract management experience.
• Strong budget, cost control and forecasting skills.
• Experience with PPP/PFI project finance desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of a major capital project.
• Manage scope, schedule, and deliveries against the master plan.
• Liaise with consultants, contractors, regulators and authorities.
• Oversee contract administration and change control under NEC.
• Report progress, risks, and financial status to senior management.
• Promote HSE and ensure CDM compliance.
