Job summary

King & Moffatt Building Services is seeking an experienced Senior M&E Project Manager to lead complex mechanical and electrical projects across sectors. You will manage start-up meetings, coordinate submittals, progress reporting, and client interfaces to deliver on time and within budget.

The role requires strong leadership of PMs and site teams, budget control, schedule development, and effective handover documentation.

Qualifications

• Extensive project management experience in the M&E industry.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale M&E projects on time and within budget.
• Experience leading large teams including PMs, site managers, foremen.

Responsibilities

• Attend project start-up meetings and manage all Mechanical and Electrical aspects, delivering the project on time and within budget.
• Familiarise with project details and specifications, collate technical submittals through to approval.
• Maintain weekly Progress Reports and manage changes/variations.
• Liaise with main contractors and client site team; oversee coordination of plant and equipment.
• Ensure materials are available and that construction and commissioning programmes are in place.

Job Description

We are on the lookout for an experienced Senior M&E Project Manager to join our team. You will play a key role in this projects successful delivery.

What you would do:

• Attend project start up meetings and manage all Mechanical and Electrical aspects, delivering the project, on time and within budget.
• Familiarise yourself with all details and specifications of the project.
• Collate technical submittals, ensuring they are issued and followed through until approval.
• Maintain Progress Report weekly, reporting and managing any changes/variations.
• Liaise with main contractors and the client-based site team.
• Oversee coordination and delivery of project plant and equipment.
• Ensure adequate materials are always available to complete the project.
• Ensure construction and commissioning programmes are in place for the job and implement the commission plan on site.
• Manage K&M handover process and maintain K&M Document Management System.
• Attend meetings as required with Sub Contractors to ensure on time delivery.
• Attend general site meetings and action any points raised.
• Communicate any innovative project specific works to Contracts Manager (R&D)

Qualifications

• Extensive Project Management experience gained across theM&E industry.
• Successful track record of delivering large-scale M&E projects, on time and within budget.
• Experience of managing large teams including PM's, Site Manager, Foremen etc.
• Qualification in Construction/Project Management is preferred.
