Job summary

King & Moffatt Building Services is seeking a Site Manager to oversee all on-site elements of projects, ensuring delivery of full project scope from planning to handover. You will coordinate labour, plant, and subcontractors, drive HSEQ compliance, and manage RAMS, permits, and quality reporting.

Applicants should have previous site management experience, SMSTS or SSSTS, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in leading and coordinating on-site teams and subcontractors.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders.
• Commitment to health, safety, environment and quality (HSEQ) policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• On-site delivery and compliance of EHSQ, toolbox talks, RAMS, PPE, etc.
• Ensure permits are in place for on-site activities.
• Coordinate plant hire, tools and labour on site.
• Direct and train apprentices for deliveries and daily checks.
• Oversee labour, site supervisors and subcontractors.
• Execute commissioning and close-out plans; close snag lists.
• Attend K&M team planning meetings and report progress.
• Maintain K&M Document Management System and communicate changes.

Job Description

In this role, you would be responsible for managing all site elements of the project for King and Moffatt, while ensuring full project deliverables are achieved.

What you would do:

• On site delivery and compliance of EHSQ, Toolbox talks, RAMS, PPE etc.
• Ensure all relevant permits are in place.
• On site coordination of plant hire, tools, and labour
• Direct and train apprentices to manage deliveries and daily checks.
• Oversee and manage labour, site supervisors and subcontractors.
• Execution of commissioning and close out plan
• Ensure close out of snag lists.
• Attending internal K&M team planning meetings
• Update appropriate information to progress report.
• Maintaining K&M Document Management System
• Communicate changes to Project team.
• Project quality reporting and monitoring.
• Oversee testing certification and handover.
• Comply with all EHSQ policies and procedures as required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Site Manager or similar role
• SMSTS or SSSTS
• Experience of managing and leading teams
• Project Management experience beneficial
• Computer literate with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
