Job summary

North Lanarkshire Council is seeking an experienced Project Delivery professional to lead infrastructure and transportation initiatives. You will drive capital programmes, maintain NEC contract governance, and coordinate with contractors and service providers to meet milestones.

The role requires a Civil Engineering qualification (HND or Degree) and a strong track record in delivering complex projects within deadline-driven environments.

Qualifications

• HND or Degree in Civil Engineering or relevant subject.
• Proven track record delivering projects and meeting milestones.
• Experience building working relationships with contractors and professional service providers.
• Budgetary experience including preparation, monitoring and control.
• Strong leadership, business and customer focus with proactive stakeholder engagement.
• Knowledge of legislation and initiatives in relevant disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver key infrastructure and transportation projects.
• Ensure legislative compliance and service development.
• Deliver substantial capital programmes in line with The Plan for North Lanarkshire.
• Oversee road improvements, active travel and public transport infrastructure.
