Job summary

Egis is seeking a Mechanical and Electrical Engineer to join the M25 DBFO project in the UK. You will provide direction on design projects, manage timelines and external consultants, and ensure effective communication across disciplines.

The role involves delivering multiple highway and technology schemes, coordinating with clients and partners, and supporting sustainability initiatives. Travel and occasional night shifts are expected on a complex, high-value programme.

Responsibilities

• Stakeholder management with Portfolio Manager, SPM, and teams to align delivery objectives.
• Maintain DBFO contract compliance and manage risks, issues, reports and records.
• Design, agree and implement project plans with adequate resources.
• Lead programmes through feasibility, design, construction and handover.
• Develop robust cost profiles and identify key risks.
• Identify risks, escalate, and implement mitigation solutions.
• Manage Sub Contractors and Designers, ensure health and safety and performance.
• Support sustainability activities including net zero and biodiversity.
• Coordinate permits, certificates and site reporting with construction teams.
• Manage NEC Contracts Options as Project Manager.
