The Environment Agency is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee financial and business management within its largest digital transformation programme. You will lead the Programme Management Office, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and driving value for money. We have an exciting opportunity to be involved in the strategic planning and business management of the largest digital transformation programme within the Environment & Business directorate. The Regulatory Services Programme is responsible for delivering digital services that will transform environmental regulation.
You will lead within the Programme Management Office (PMO), providing valuable input into the financial and business management of the Programme. Your role will support risk mitigation, issue resolution, and removal of barriers to ensure alignment with the business case and value for money.
We seek someone with a proven track record in managing complex financial information, collaborating effectively, and driving value for money and ongoing investment.
The Digital, Innovation and Programmes team oversees the Digital Strategy and its implementation to transform environmental regulation. You will work within a multidisciplinary team, alongside Defra shared services and third-party suppliers, to shape delivery of user-centered online services and digital platforms that are efficient, simple, and fast.
