The Environment Agency is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead financial and business management within a major digital transformation programme. This role involves managing complex financial information, engaging stakeholders, and ensuring programme deliverables align with strategic objectives, all within a dynamic and inclusive environment.

We offer an exciting opportunity to be involved in the strategic planning and business management of the largest digital transformation programme within the Environment & Business directorate. The Regulatory Services Programme is responsible for delivering digital services that will transform how the EA regulates.
You will lead within the Programme Management Office (PMO), providing valuable input into the financial and business management of the Programme. Your role will support risk mitigation, issue resolution, and removing barriers to ensure alignment with the business case and achieving value for money.
We seek someone with a strong track record in managing complex financial information, collaborating to drive value for money, and influencing ongoing investment.
The Digital, Innovation and Programmes team is responsible for the Digital Strategy and its implementation across E&B. Our work sets the strategic direction for digital services that will transform regulation processes.
You will work within a multidisciplinary team, alongside Defra shared services and third-party suppliers, to shape user-centered online services and digital platforms that are efficient, simple, and fast.
