Job summary

A leading company is seeking a non-technical project manager with a strong background in stakeholder management and project delivery. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in change delivery methodologies and project management, particularly in Environmental, Sustainability, and Governance projects. This role offers a hybrid working model, requiring two days in the office weekly.

The ideal candidate will come from a legal, accountancy or Top 4 consultancy background.

Experience working on Environmental, Sustainability and Governance projects is essential.

Job Responsibilities

1. Understand the inflight and upcoming changes in project business requirements(s)
2. Plan and design ‘outcome focused’ projects, monitoring progress against agreed parameters, identifying key risks, resolving issues and initiating timely corrective action
3. Define the project's governance framework
4. Resolve risks and issues
5. Ensure project integrity and coherence
6. Help appoint additional staff into the project and underlying workstreams / activities. Liaise with design authority / architecture teams / other IT teams / risk / dependent projects and product teams / suppliers
7. Ensure outputs meet requirements within time, quality, cost constraints (and timely escalation of risks if not)

• We are looking for a non-technical project manager, with strong stakeholder management and hands-on delivery of projects through the full project lifecycle.
• Proven experience of translating vague project details into an exact project plan.
• Experience with PMO functions is preferred.
• Someone proactive, capable of working independently and shaping projects and innovative ideas.

Skills Required

• Extensive experience with change delivery methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile)
• Experience in HR, ESG (Environmental, Sustainability & Governance), or Social Impact projects
• Experience in an accountancy firm or audit teams is a bonus

This role offers hybrid working - 2 days in the office weekly.
