Job summary

The Ministry of Justice is seeking a Senior Project Manager for the Community Accommodation Service within Corporate Services. This 18-month contract is nationally based and offers flexible working options, including full-time, part-time, and job share.

You will lead the CAS Equality, Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging team, collaborate with senior leaders, and oversee planning, risk, and performance. Visa sponsorship is available for eligible overseas applicants.

Qualifications

• Experience of monitoring performance against targets and implementing improvements.
• Budgetary control experience, including commissioning, procurement or contract management.
• Planning and deployment of personnel and resources to meet demands.
• Experience working with local agencies and stakeholders to build relationships.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety and Equalities management.
• Understanding of the wider criminal justice system.
• Applicants must have the right to work in the UK or be eligible for Skilled Worker sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead the CAS Equality, Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging team and deliver related plans.
• Provide leadership across corporate functions and ensure reporting consistency.
• Collaborate with senior leaders to promote inclusive practices and staff wellbeing.
• Assist the Head of Corporate Services with business planning, risk and financial assurance.
• Coordinate Change, Corporate Services and Business Manager activities across CAS.
