Job summary

Exalto Consulting's client seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager for a 6-month contract, fully remote and Inside IR35. The role focuses on delivering large-scale payments and fintech initiatives, leading end-to-end payment gateway and PSP implementations across multiple regions, and coordinating with vendors and partners to enable global payment transformations.

The ideal candidate will drive ERP integrations (SAP S/4HANA preferred), develop business cases for strategic technology

Qualifications

• Experience delivering large-scale payments/fintech or financial technology projects.
• Proven ability to lead end-to-end payment gateway/PSP implementations.
• Experience with global providers such as CyberSource, Adyen, Stripe, Worldpay, Ingenico, Braintree.
• Track record of multi-country payment transformations across EMEA, Americas and APAC.
• Experience with payment processing, settlement, reconciliation, chargebacks and fraud prevention.
• Strong understanding of ecommerce and omnichannel payments.
• Experience negotiating with third-party vendors and managing contracts.
• Experience with ERP integration, preferably SAP S/4HANA.
• Ability to create business cases and executive-level recommendations.
• Experience shaping target operating models and global capabilities.
• PM skills: RAID, Change Management, Vendor Management, Budget Controls; Agile & Waterfall.

My Global client are looking to recruit an experienced Senior Project Manager on an initial 6 month contract to start ASAP. This role is fully remote and Inside IR35.

The ideal candidate will have the following experience:

• Previous experience delivering large scale payments, fintech, digital commerce, or financial technology projects.
• Proven experience leading end to end payment gateway, payment service provider (PSP), payment orchestration, or payment platform implementations.
• Experience working with global payment providers such as CyberSource, Adyen, Adflex, Stripe, Worldpay, (url removed), Ingenico, Braintree, or similar.
• Demonstrable track record managing complex, multi country payment transformations across EMEA, Americas and APAC regions.
• Experience delivering projects involving payment processing, settlement, reconciliation, chargebacks, fraud prevention and order to cash processes.
• Strong understanding of eCommerce and omnichannel payment ecosystems.
• Experience managing third party payment vendors, commercial negotiations, contracts and implementation partners.
• Experience delivering technology and business change programmes involving ERP integration, preferably SAP 4HANA.
• Proven experience creating business cases, investment proposals and executive level recommendations for strategic technology decisions.
• Experience shaping target operating models and global capabilities rather than solely delivering predefined projects.
• Strong Project Management skills including RAID, Change Management, Vendor Management, Budget Controls, & Governance using Agile & Waterfall delivery methods.
