Job summary

Exalto Consulting is seeking an experienced Senior Payments Project Manager for a 6-month remote contract inside IR35. The role covers end-to-end payments program delivery, including gateway implementations, PSPs, and payment platforms, with regional scope across EMEA, Americas and APAC.

Strong governance and vendor management are essential. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of payment ecosystems, card acquiring, tokenisation, and regulatory regimes, plus extensive experience with

Qualifications

Deep understanding of payment gateway architecture and payment processing ecosystems is required.
Experience delivering end to end payment gateway/PSP implementations across regions.
Proven ability to evaluate vendors, run RFPs and strategic sourcing exercises.
Strong PM practices: RAID, Change Management, Vendor Management, Budget controls, Governance.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end payment gateway/PSP or payment platform implementations.
Manage cross-functional teams across multiple regions (EMEA, Americas, APAC).
Oversee vendor negotiations, contracts and implementation partners.
Drive business cases and executive-level recommendations for technology decisions.
