The Energy Transition team within our Energy unit is looking for multiple Project Managers to run our major multidisciplinary FEED and Detailed Design projects in this growing portfolio, supporting Clients in the UK and across Europe as part of the energy transition. As well as contributing to these new and existing projects, this position will play an active role in improving our project management processes and approach, driving both delivery excellence and efficiency in our business.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Project Management for complex Energy projects such as OCGT and CCGT projects at feasibility, FEED and detailed design phases
- Deliver project scope to time, quality and cost
- Build and manage strong relationships with senior client representatives and internal stakeholders
- Establish effective communications across the whole project delivery team
- Take the lead on problem solving and decision making
- Control internal and external commercial aspects of the project under the contract arrangements
- Manage risk to the business and to the client
- Work effectively on several projects concurrently to deliver to tight deadlines

Qualifications
- Proven success in the delivery of Energy sector design projects working for a designer, a contractor or major industry client within the energy sector
- Experience of managing multidisciplinary teams
- Experience in contract administration
- Knowledge and experience in approaches to change management, risk management, schedule and cost management, along with all other aspects of project management
- Ability to make complex decisions, ensuring policies and procedures are adhered to, accepting responsibility for own actions
- Relevant engineering or management degree or successful experience in project management of energy sector projects
- Proven delivery of multidisciplinary design projects
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to adapt and work on multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic and fast‑paced environment
- Collaborative skills – work with cross‑functional teams potentially located in different countries, with people from various backgrounds

- Experience within the Energy sector
- Experience across all stages of the project lifecycle
- Relevant PM qualifications (eg PMQ, PMP, Prince 2)
