Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager with a specialization in Construction to lead large-scale projects in East London. This on-site role requires deep knowledge of construction processes, site management, and stakeholder coordination to deliver safely, on time, and within budget.

You will oversee project teams, manage all phases of construction, ensure compliance with regulations and quality standards, and liaise with clients and regulators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in construction project management delivering large-scale projects.
• Solid knowledge of construction methods, materials and building codes.
• Strong leadership, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Accreditation such as PR CPM or PMP is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of construction projects from conception, planning, and procurement through to execution and closeout.
• Oversee site operations, ensuring adherence to safety regulations, quality standards, and project specifications.
• Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation effectively.
• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, including contractors, engineers, and architects.
• Liaise with clients, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment.
• Proactively identify and resolve issues and risks that may impact project timelines or budgets.
