Job summary

American Society of Civil Engineers is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead delivery of civil engineering, remediation, earthworks and enabling works across the UK. This senior role covers pre-construction, mobilisation, construction and handover, and involves managing programmes, budgets, health and safety, quality, subcontractors and client relationships.

Candidates should have at least five years' experience in related sectors, hold SMSTS and CSCS, a full UK driving licence and be

Qualifications

• At least five years' experience managing projects in remediation, civil engineering or related sectors.
• Experience managing programmes, budgets and operational teams.
• Strong commercial awareness and contract administration knowledge.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally.
• SMSTS and CSCS card required; First Aid or Temporary Works advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for safe and successful delivery of assigned projects.
• Manage mobilisation through to handover and completion.
• Develop and maintain project programmes, budgets and delivery plans.
• Supervise Site Managers, Project Engineers, Supervisors, subcontractors and teams.
• Coordinate labour, plant, materials, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Monitor costs, progress, productivity and commercial performance.
• Manage variations, change control, valuations and reporting with commercial team.
• Review drawings, RAMS and technical documentation.
• Chair progress meetings and maintain client relationships.
