Job summary

United Infrastructure is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex water and wastewater schemes within the AMP8 framework. You will deliver projects safely, on time and within budget, while guiding a multidisciplinary team and coordinating with clients and stakeholders.

The role requires a Civil Engineering background, strong contract and commercial acumen, and experience with cost control and planning tools like MS Project.

Qualifications

  • Degree in civil engineering or equivalent and professional registration considered.
  • Minimum 5 years in a senior project management role within water/civil infrastructure.
  • PM qualification (APM PMQ or equivalent) and CDM awareness.
  • Understanding of construction contracts and commercial management.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate and manage multiple projects up to £10 million in value.
  • Lead HSQE compliance and site health and safety inspections.
  • Manage site teams including Site Managers and Engineers.
  • Coordinate supply chain partners and manage client interfaces.
  • Chair project meetings; monitor progress and report milestones.
  • Control budgets, costs and target margins.

This is an excellent opportunity to join our integrated project delivery team and lead complex, multi-disciplinary water and wastewater projects.
