Job Title: Senior Project Manager - Time and Frequency Department

The Project Management Office at NPL is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our world-leading Time and Frequency department.

Our technological advances, from unhackable quantum communications and superfast 5G to antibiotic alternatives and more effective cancer diagnosis and treatments, are built on a foundation of reliable measurement, supported by over a century of expertise in science, engineering, and technology.

Department Overview

The Time and Frequency department maintains the UK's National Time Scale, UTC (NPL), and is developing a new resilient Time Scale facility to underpin our Critical National Infrastructure. This initiative aims to address the risks associated with dependency on global navigation satellite systems like GPS, which are vulnerable to natural and intentional interference.

Role Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver complex projects within the Time and Frequency department.
