Job Opportunity: Senior Project Manager

Copello is pleased to partner with a major Aerospace organisation near High Wycombe to recruit a Senior Project Manager on a permanent basis.

The Senior Project Manager will join an established team, leading the successful delivery of a portfolio of complex development projects. The role involves working within planned quality, time, and cost parameters to meet project requirements, while supporting and motivating the Project Engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Proven experience in delivering projects and programmes, with strong leadership skills.
2. Commercially astute, with a continuous improvement mindset.
3. Act as the project interface for customers to ensure stakeholder satisfaction.
4. Ensure successful project delivery within agreed time, cost, and quality parameters.
5. Lead and motivate internal project teams with technical and commercial support.
6. Mitigate risks and resolve issues proactively.
7. Communicate effectively and openly within project teams and stakeholders.
8. Own project planning efforts and resource requirement identification.
9. Manage multiple projects across different lifecycle phases effectively.
10. Oversee monthly financial reporting and project status updates.
11. Experience in managing complex Aerospace projects is essential.

The ideal candidate will be a natural leader and an excellent communicator, capable of delivering projects on time and within budget, while developing team members and enhancing efficiency. A background in Engineering is advantageous.

Eligibility for UK Security Clearance (SC) and UKEO is a mandatory requirement for this role.

The position is based near High Wycombe and requires on-site presence at least 4 days a week, with flexible working patterns available.
