Job summary

Wiseman Family Office is seeking a German-speaking Senior Project Manager to lead end-to-end software implementations for financial institutions and wealth management clients. You will own all phases from initiation to go-live, coordinating governance, budgets, risks and stakeholder relationships across Product, Engineering, QA and Implementation teams.

You will manage client-facing projects, leveraging Agile, Waterfall or hybrid methods, and work with global teams to ensure successful delivery

Qualifications

• 8+ years of genuine Project Management experience, ideally 10+ years, with ownership of complex software implementations.
• Fluent German and English, capable of leading client meetings and steering committees in both languages.
• Proven experience as the primary client-facing PM for enterprise software, SaaS or on-premise implementations.
• Strong understanding of the full SDLC from requirements to go-live.
• Structured governance, RAID, scope control and change management experience.
• Experience managing senior client stakeholders and executive relationships.
• Ability to work with Product, Engineering and QA teams to ensure delivery.
• Experience delivering projects using Agile, Waterfall or hybrid methodologies.
• Financial services, banking, wealth management or WealthTech experience is advantageous.
• Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.

Senior Project Manager - Software Implementation (German Speaking) - Hybrid - Full time

We are supporting a leading global WealthTech company in hiring a German speaking Senior Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of enterprise software implementations for financial institutions and wealth management clients.

This is a hands-on, client-facing delivery role requiring an experienced Project Manager who can take full ownership of complex software implementations, from initial project setup and requirements gathering through development, testing, UAT and go-live.

The successful candidate will be the primary point of contact for clients, managing project governance, delivery timelines, budgets, risks and senior stakeholder relationships while working closely with Product, Engineering, QA and Implementation teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of client-facing software implementation projects from initiation through to successful go-live and handover.
• Lead project planning, governance, resource coordination, budgeting and delivery execution across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Act as the primary client-facing Project Manager, managing senior stakeholders, executive relationships and steering committee meetings.
• Manage project scope, RAID logs, dependencies, change requests and contractual delivery commitments.
• Coordinate requirements gathering, development, integration, testing, UAT and deployment activities.
• Work closely with Product, Engineering, QA and Implementation teams to ensure technical delivery aligns with client requirements and agreed milestones.
• Proactively identify delivery risks, resolve issues and manage escalations to protect project timelines and client relationships.
• Provide structured project reporting, delivery updates and clear communication to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• 8+ years of genuine Project Management experience, ideally 10+ years, with substantial ownership of complex software implementation projects.
• Fluent German and English, with the ability to lead client meetings, project workshops, steering committees and senior stakeholder discussions in both languages.
• Proven experience as the primary client-facing Project Manager for enterprise software, SaaS or on-premise implementations.
• Strong understanding of the full SDLC, including requirements, development, integration, testing, UAT, deployment and go-live.
• Demonstrable experience establishing and maintaining structured project governance, planning, RAID management, scope control and change management.
• Experience managing senior client stakeholders and executive-level relationships.
• Strong technical understanding and the ability to work effectively with software engineering, product and QA teams.
• Experience delivering projects using Agile, Waterfall or hybrid methodologies, with the ability to apply appropriate project management controls.
• Experience within financial services, banking, wealth management or WealthTech would be highly advantageous.
• Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills, with a structured and proactive approach to project delivery.

You will take ownership of complex client implementations, work directly with senior banking stakeholders and collaborate with international Product and Engineering teams.
