Job summary

Kier Construction in Scotland is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead an £85M high-rise retrofit near Edinburgh, from preconstruction through lifecycle, delivering energy-efficient, comfortable buildings. Based in Moredun / Stepps, you will oversee site teams, manage budgets, report KPIs, and communicate progress to clients and stakeholders in a calm, professional manner.

Qualifications

• Degree-level or equivalent in a relevant construction discipline.
• Proven experience delivering high-value construction projects.
• Experience managing budgets and project programmes.
• Strong communication skills for leadership reporting.
• SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid, and a full driving licence.

We're looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our Kier Construction team based in Moredun / Stepps.

Location

Moredun / Stepps, near Edinburgh

Hours

40 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

Kier Construction has a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of an £85M high rise retrofit scheme near Edinburgh. As part of Kier's commitment to creating spaces that enrich lives and communities, you'll lead this project from preconstruction through its full lifecycle, bringing high rise buildings up to excellent standards of energy efficiency and comfort.

What will you be responsible for?

• Overseeing site teams to effectively manage performance against programme and budget
• Leading project teams to deliver works and managing subcontractor relationships.
• Ongoing management of project budget and upline reporting on project KPIs
• Communicating progress to clients and stakeholders in a calm, personable way
• Identifying solutions to project challenges, whether technical, logistical, or commercial

What are we looking for?

• You're qualified to degree level or equivalent in a relevant construction discipline
• You have significant experience in leading construction project delivery on high value builds
• You have demonstrable experience of managing project budgets and programmes
• You have strong communication skills with the ability to collate and produce reports for leadership
• You hold SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid Certifications along with a Full driving licence
