Overview

We are seeking experienced Senior Project Managers to join our growing Midlands practice, based in Birmingham (or Nottingham). You will lead the successful delivery of complex, high‑value schemes across sectors including commercial offices, industrial/logistics, aviation infrastructure, and public sector programmes. This role combines project leadership, client relationship management, and commercial accountability, with the opportunity to play a visible role in shaping regional delivery.

Your role

• Lead the delivery of projects through the full lifecycle, applying best practice PM methodology.
• Act as the primary client interface and trusted advisor.
• Take responsibility for project commercial performance, governance and resourcing.
• Lead multi‑disciplinary teams and drive collaborative behaviours across stakeholders.
• Provide leadership, mentoring and technical guidance to junior team members.
• Manage procurement strategies, tender processes and contract administration.
• Ensure compliance with AtkinsRéalis systems, standards and policies.
• Support business development and contribute to winning new work.

About you

• Degree qualified with significant relevant experience.
• Chartered professional (MRICS, MCIOB, CHPP or equivalent).
• Strong track record of delivering projects across public and/or private sectors.
• Experience of leading multi‑disciplinary teams and complex stakeholder environments.
• Commercially astute with experience managing project financials.
• Experience with JCT and NEC contracts and procurement strategies.
