Job summary

AtkinsRéalis Buildings & Places in Bristol is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex projects across education, commercial, infrastructure and public sectors in the South West. This hybrid role expects a minimum of 3 days per week in the Bristol office or site, and 2 days from home, driving successful delivery from inception to handover.

You will manage multi-disciplinary teams, advise on cost, schedule and risk, and report monthly progress to clients and stakeholders,

Qualifications

• Experience in education or custodial projects is desirable.
• Experience in leading and managing a multi-disciplinary team.
• Experience with best-practice project management techniques.
• Experience across pre- and post-contract project management.
• Aptitude to liaise with clients and stakeholders while managing expectations.
• Ability to manage a project lifecycle from start to finish.
• RICS Chartership or equivalent PM qualification.

Overview

AtkinsRéalis Buildings & Places are currently recruiting for Senior Project Managers for our Bristol Office to service projects in Bristol and the South-West of England. Due to continued success in securing projects throughout Bristol and the surrounding regions, we're looking for exceptional Senior Project Managers, with a strong focus in the Private & Public Sectors, to join our highly successful team in Bristol Office. This role is a hybrid role with an expectation of a minimum 3 days a week working from the Bristol office/Site and 2 days a week working from home. Our projects range in value from £1m to £50m+ and are with a variety of high-profile clients in the education, commercial, infrastructure and public sector giving our Senior Project Managers a diverse and exciting workload. Your role

• Provide high quality project and programme management standards across the whole project lifecycle;

About You

• Experience in education or custodial projects is desirable but not essential as we have strong pipeline of work in these sectors.
• Experience in leading and managing a multi-disciplinary team.
• Experience in the adoption and management of best practice Project Management techniques.
• Experience of both pre and post contract Project Management responsibilities and be able to deliver this service effectively to Clients.
• The aptitude to liaise with clients and key stakeholders whilst managing expectations.
• The ability to manage a project throughout its lifecycle.
• Hold RICS Chartership or similar Project Management Qualification.
