Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a proactive Project Manager to lead and deliver complex programmes across multiple sectors from our Northeast & Yorkshire team in the UK. You will manage objectives, risks, schedules and governance, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and driving outcomes for clients and stakeholders.

The role emphasises collaboration, adaptability and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment, with flexible and remote working options to support your ambitions.

Your role

• Deliver high-quality project and programme management services throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support clients in defining objectives, managing risks and achieving successful outcomes.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, reporting and governance arrangements.

• Coordinate and lead multi-disciplinary teams to achieve agreed objectives.
• Identify and manage risks, issues, dependencies and opportunities.
• Monitor progress and provide clear, timely and insightful reporting.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across project teams.
• Drive continuous improvement and share best practice with colleagues.
• Contribute to the continued growth and success of our Northeast & Yorkshire team.
• Depending on your experience and level, you may also lead major projects, manage client relationships, support business development activities and mentor junior colleagues.

The Following Would Be Advantageous

• APM, RICS, PMI or equivalent qualifications, or a commitment to professional development.
• Experience applying recognised project management methodologies and governance frameworks.
• Experience working in regulated, stakeholder-rich or operationally complex environments.
• Knowledge of commercial management, contract administration or NEC contracts.
