Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking Project Managers to join our Delivery Optimisation practice in the UK. Roles range across capability and accountability levels, with hybrid working and secure, client-facing environments.

You’ll influence planning, governance, reporting, risk and commercial management to deliver contracted outputs. Your experience may include supplier-side, consultancy or complex internal delivery, with flexibility for part-time arrangements and a focus on robust controls in

At AtkinsRéalis, our Project Managers help bring structure, control and confidence to secure, complex delivery. You'll help manage the deliverables, commitments and contractual obligations we have with our clients, with accountability matched to your capability, experience and the scale of assignment. We are recruiting for multiple Project Manager roles across a range of capability and accountability levels. We welcome candidates with experience managing delivery in supplier-side, consultancy or complex internal delivery environments, particularly where this involves contractual commitments, client-facing governance and delivery against agreed outcomes. We are also open to applications from people looking for part-time or flexible working arrangements.

Your role

As a Project Manager within our Delivery Optimisation sub-practice, you'll work in secure, client-facing supplier delivery environments where structure, judgement and reliable controls matter. The scope of each role will reflect your experience, from managing defined deliverables or smaller projects through to taking broader accountability for more complex contracted assignments.

• You may define delivery roles and ways of working, manage plans, schedules, risks, quality arrangements and reporting, and monitor progress against cost, schedule, quality, commercial and contractual commitments.
• You may also manage suppliers, partners or internal delivery teams, support client-facing governance, and identify opportunities to strengthen delivery, resolve issues and add value within the scope of our contracted work.
• For more complex assignments, you may coordinate multi-disciplinary delivery teams, manage dependencies and support the successful delivery of agreed outputs, outcomes and benefits.

All our roles are subject to a minimum of 3 days in the office, either onsite with our clients or at one of our AtkinsRéalis offices, pro-rated for part-time employees. We are open to discussing flexible and part-time working patterns where these can support both the role requirements and individual circumstances.

About you

• Project management experience in supplier-side, consultancy or complex internal delivery environments.
• Experience supporting or leading project activities such as planning, governance, reporting, risk, assurance, finance, commercial management, change or delivery control.
• The ability to work with data, delivery tools and project information to support effective decision-making.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with project teams, stakeholders, suppliers and clients, particularly where expectations, deliverables and responsibilities need to be managed carefully.
• Commercial awareness, including budgets, forecasting, cost control, change control and contractual commitments appropriate to the role.
• An understanding of project delivery lifecycles, governance and the importance of robust controls in complex environments.
• A proactive, collaborative and considered approach, with the judgement and professionalism to operate effectively in secure, client-facing supplier delivery environments.
