Job summary

Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a lead for high-profile transformation projects across Dentistry and Primary Care, CHSDPC. You will plan and deliver complex programmes, applying project management, change management and Lean methods to achieve measurable improvements in services and patient experience.

You will collaborate with clinical and operational leaders, manage governance and budgets, travel between Oxfordshire sites, and help embed sustainable change across the organisation.

Responsibilities

• Leading complex transformation and improvement projects from design through to implementation and benefits realisation, ensuring they deliver measurable improvements for patients, staff and services.
• Providing expert project, change and improvement management, ensuring projects are delivered to time, quality and budget.
• Working with senior clinical and operational leaders to design, implement and embed sustainable service change.
• Managing project governance, risks, issues, dependencies, resources and finances, providing clear reporting to senior leadership.
• Building strong relationships with stakeholders across the Trust and wider health system, facilitating collaboration and co-production.
• Leading and supporting multidisciplinary project teams, including Assistant Project Managers and trainees.
• Coaching and developing staff and delivering project, change and improvement training to build organisational capability.
• Measuring and demonstrating benefits, including improvements in quality, efficiency, patient outcomes and experience.
• Developing and improving the Trust’s approach to transformation, including project management standards, processes and methodologies.

Job description

Want to lead the planning and delivery of high-profile transformation projects across Dentistry and Primary Care (CHSDPC)? This is a key role within the Community Health Services, Dentistry and Primary Care (CHSDPC) Directorate, supporting the delivery of complex transformation projects that improve services in line with the 10-Year Plan, Medium Term Planning Framework, Fit for the Future, and the Neighbourhood Health Framework. The post holder will lead the planning and delivery of high-profile transformation projects, applying project management, change management, and Lean/ quality improvement methodologies to deliver sustainable service improvements. Working collaboratively within the directorate and across the organisation, they will engage a wide range of stakeholders, champion co-production, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The role reports to the Partnerships, Improvement and Programmes Lead and contributes to the successful delivery of the directorate's strategic transformation programme. Please note that this role will require us to undertake a DBS check as a part of your onboarding. Ability to travel independently between sites across Oxfordshire is required for this role.
