Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Wales to lead delivery of advanced technology facilities and data centre programmes, shaping a high-performing team and strengthening client partnerships.

You will drive bids, foster cross-disciplinary collaboration, and ensure successful outcomes across major infrastructure projects, with a focus on pre- and post-contract delivery and commercial oversight.

Qualifications

• Chartered status MRICS or equivalent required.
• Experience delivering complex, high-value projects.
• Ability to lead teams and manage senior client relationships.
• Experience in pre- and post-contract delivery and commercial management.
• Strong knowledge of Welsh and UK construction markets.
• Proven track record in winning work and developing client relationships.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Strategic awareness to identify market opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and delivery of project management services across advanced technology/data centre schemes and related sectors.
• Act as senior client interface to build trusted relationships with regional and national clients.
• Support growth of the Wales business, including team expansion and capability building.
• Lead and contribute to winning work, including bids and client presentations.
• Take ownership of major projects and key accounts with high-quality delivery and client satisfaction.
• Collaborate across disciplines to deliver integrated solutions.
• Promote AtkinsRéalis Project Management brand in the marketplace.
• Mentor and coach colleagues to foster a high-performance team culture.
• Monitor workload and resources to support efficient delivery.
