Job summary

BYLOR seeks a Senior Project Manager to provide overall construction delivery leadership for secondary steelwork across the Nuclear Island Units 1 and 2 at Hinkley Point C. You will oversee BYLOR Project Managers, drive safety, quality and timely delivery, and coordinate interfaces with Tier 2 contractors in a high-profile, multi-unit project.

Qualifications

• Senior construction delivery/management experience in major construction, infrastructure, energy or nuclear projects.
• Proven track record delivering structural/secondary steelwork packages on complex projects.
• Experience overseeing Project Managers responsible for multiple construction areas.
• Strong background managing Tier 2 contractors and specialist supply chain partners.
• Demonstrated expertise in HSE, quality and nuclear safety requirements.
• Strong programme management, commercial awareness and cost control skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to manage complex interfaces across multiple construction disciplines.
• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall programme leadership for secondary steelwork delivery across Unit 1 and Unit 2.
• Lead BYLOR Project Managers to coordinate areas and work packages.
• Ensure safe delivery of secondary steelwork in line with nuclear and site rules.
• Drive contractor performance and manage interfaces between units.
• Monitor progress, productivity and programme delivery across sites.
• Embed lessons learned from Unit 1 into Unit 2 delivery strategy.
