Job summary

BYLOR Joint Venture is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of secondary steelwork across Unit 1 and Unit 2 at Hinkley Point C. You will oversee the Project Management team, drive safety, quality and programme performance, and coordinate with Tier 2 contractors to meet challenging milestones.

Role requires extensive experience in major construction or nuclear projects, strong leadership, and accountability for delivery across interfaces and disciplines.

Qualifications

• Senior-level construction delivery/management experience on major projects.
• Proven track record delivering structural/secondary steelwork packages on complex projects.
• Experience overseeing Project Managers responsible for multiple construction areas.
• Strong background managing Tier 2 contractors and specialist supply chain partners.
• Demonstrated expertise in HSE, quality and nuclear safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall programme leadership for secondary steelwork delivery across Unit 1 and Unit 2.
• Oversee BYLOR Project Managers and Tier 2 contractors to ensure effective HSE management.
• Monitor productivity, resources and programme delivery; drive recovery actions.
• Liaise with Site Engineering for timely methods and technical documentation.
• Oversee design input and temporary works, scaffolding and lifting arrangements.
• Support commercial performance, cost control and progress valuations.
