Job summary

Kier Group, delivering major Thames Water projects in the Thames Valley region, seeks a Senior Project Engineer to lead design and build services for infrastructure assets. You will drive capital projects, coordinate with supply chain partners, and ensure delivery against KPIs in a collaborative, wellbeing-focused environment.

The role requires RAMS assessment experience, CSCS/SSSTS certifications, and a full driving license, with a strong emphasis on right-first-time delivery and lessons

Qualifications

• Qualified in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (BEng/ONC/HNC/BTEC).
• CSCS card, SSSTS and Confined Spaces certification are required.
• Experience in reviewing RAMS and assessing risks to process plant.
• Strong commercial awareness and collaborative skills.
• Full driving license is required.

Responsibilities

• Managing and updating construction programmes to meet key milestones.
• Engaging with supply chain partners on Health, Safety and Wellbeing, leading by example.
• Overseeing design integration and carrying out design assurance against Thames Water Asset standards.
• Chairing supply chain meetings to monitor progress and escalate issues.
• Promoting a right first-time culture and capturing lessons learnt through case studies.
