Job summary

SP Energy Networks is hiring a Senior Project Engineer (Maintenance) to lead and improve Transmission Operations maintenance programs across substation assets. You will work with Substation Delivery teams and Operational Engineers to drive successful maintenance planning, reporting and continuous improvement.

A full UK driving licence and engineering degree are required, with strong stakeholder engagement and safety knowledge.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience of project delivery within construction or electricity operations.
• Awareness of UK Health and Safety Regulations.
• Communicating effectively across multiple internal and external stakeholder groups.
• Understanding and experience of substation assets maintenance requirements
• Operational site experience, maintenance and authorisations at 33kV- 400kV

Responsibilities

• Manage and support the Transmission Operations maintenance program.
• Provide and develop maintenance programs in accordance with associated policies and compliance documents.
• Support the delivery of the maintenance programs with the Substation Delivery areas and Operational Engineers.
• Support management and submission of Year ahead maintenance plans and in year optimisation of scheduled outages.
• Provide support and development of improvements in processes and technologies associated with maintenance.
• Deliver excellent customer service to all aspects of the operation and actively promote customer service standards within area of responsibility.
