Job summary

ScottishPower is recruiting a Senior Project Engineer (Maintenance) to lead and develop transmission maintenance programs within Operations Support. The role drives improvements while ensuring compliance with asset policies and delivers value through efficient project delivery.

You will work across substation assets, coordinating with engineers and contractors, focusing on continuous improvement and effective customer service across the transmission network in the UK.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• Working towards membership of a professional body.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.
• Experience with transmission substation assets.
• Experience delivering projects within energy/construction environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support the Transmission Operations maintenance program.
• Cover all substation assets including transformers and breakers.
• Develop maintenance programs per policies and compliance.
• Support delivery of maintenance plans with Substation Delivery.
• Assist with year-ahead maintenance plans and outages optimization.
• Drive process improvements and use of maintenance technologies.
• Support maintenance reporting and regulatory submissions.
• Lead interfaces with external partners and contractors.
• Promote customer service standards within area of responsibility.
