Job summary

Siemens Energy in Manchester has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Engineer to join our renewables delivery team. You will manage engineering work packages for primary equipment, ensuring delivery to budget, safety and quality while coordinating across design, test, manufacture, and site installation.

The role requires a degree in electrical engineering, ~5 years in HV transmission and strong project-management skills, with English fluency and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in high voltage transmission equipment or similar.
• Experience with project management.
• Proficiency with MS Office and PM tools.
• Business fluent English; German is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the Primary Equipment project scope to budget and schedule.
• Coordinate between primary design, test, and manufacture functions to produce a robust electrical design and engineering package.
• Prepare offers and manage project delivery of all project-related electrical systems including scheduling, cost and quality.
• Manage the transmission equipment offer/order processing team and coordinate with project management and experts.
• Oversee planning, scheduling, costing, quality control and risk management for offers and projects.
