Job summary

AJP Recruitment is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join their North East office. You will deliver complex projects across offshore, marine, oil & gas, and renewables, coordinating work packages, suppliers and documentation to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires strong technical engineering background, excellent communication and stakeholder management, and familiarity with project management methodologies such as PRINCE2 or APM.

Qualifications

• Excellent understanding of mechanical engineering in offshore/marine sectors.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies (APM, PRINCE2).
• Proven track record delivering complex EPC offshore/marine projects.

Responsibilities

• Deliver complex engineering projects across offshore, marine, oil & gas, renewables and defence sectors.
• Manage technical work packages, coordinate suppliers and subcontractors.
• Oversee project documentation and compliance through full lifecycle.
• Support risk, cost control and client reporting throughout projects.
