Job summary

A Senior Mechanical Engineer role in our North East office requires technical leadership across bespoke projects for marine-related sectors. You will coordinate design teams, ensure delivery to specifications, and drive key decisions from concept through to sea trials.

Ideal candidates will have deep experience in multi-disciplinary design, familiarity with ANSYS and CAD tools, and a track record of delivering complex mechanical systems on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Experience in a multi-disciplinary design environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design and manufacture for marine/offshore equipment.
• Ability to provide technical direction and deliverables across projects.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership as design authority and lead a team to deliver projects on time, budget, and quality.
• Supervise Engineers, mentoring and providing direction as needed.
• Ensure clear responsibilities across the full project lifecycle from concept to installation.
• Promote delivery-focused culture and adherence to deadlines.
