Job summary

Osprey Shipping Limited in the UK seeks a Senior Project Engineer to lead engineering solutions across heavy lift and marine operations, reporting to the Technical Director. You will manage drawings, calculations, risk assessments, and site delivery both on site and in office, mentor engineers, drive governance, and act as the primary interface for clients and site teams.

The role encompasses leadership of project engineers and graduates, developing technical standards and ensuring high-quality

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in an Engineering discipline (Masters preferred).
• Proven experience delivering complex heavy lift projects across transportation, lifting, installing or marine scopes.
• Strong knowledge of codes, standards and governance; client-facing with mentoring experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of robust engineering solutions across heavy lift and marine operations.
• Own complex deliverables: drawings, calculations, visuals, methodologies and risk assessments.
• Drive delivery on site and in office; supervise engineers and graduates with mentorship.
• Interface with clients and site teams; lead meetings and site visits.
• Develop and approve engineering statements; ensure high-quality documentation throughout.
