Job summary

Addison Project plc is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to support upcoming Process Sector Design Engineering projects across the chemical, pharmaceutical, energy, and food & beverage sectors.

The role will manage all project phases and coordinate Electrical & Instrumentation, Mechanical/Piping, Process Safety, and Civil & Structural teams, ensuring projects stay on budget and on schedule while meeting customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience of project engineering on EPCM projects on chemical/petrochemical sites.
• Experience working on COMAH sites.
• Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards.
• Minimum HNC/D in an Engineering discipline or relevant field.
• Site startup and commissioning experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage all project phases and coordinate design engineering elements (Electrical & Instrumentation, Mechanical/Piping, Process Safety, Civil & Structural).
• Ensure projects stay within budget and on schedule while meeting customer requirements.
• Review project proposals and plans; determine specifications and generate technical aspects of equipment/ construction work packages.
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders; identify risks and implement mitigations; manage subcontractors and verify progress.
