Addison Project plc, a long-standing UK engineering consultancy, is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to take on the site-based role of Responsible Electrical Person. The position focuses on HV and LV networks, safety, compliance, and capital project support across our Hertfordshire site.
You will lead maintenance, ensure statutory compliance, and drive asset integrity while coordinating with multi-discipline teams. On-site, 5-day week, with on-call requirements, starting September 2026.

Role: Senior Electrical Engineer / Responsible Electrical Person
Location: Hertfordshire
Contract: 12 months
Start Date: September 2026
The Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for ensuring statutory and legislative compliance, and service delivery of the electrical infrastructure and distribution network across the manufacturing site. This will include the safety and operational integrity of site electrical equipment and systems, covering both HV (11kV) and LV networks.
The role acts as the site Duty Holder and Responsible Electrical Person and will lead the electrical function, covering maintenance, operation, statutory compliance, and upgrades where necessary. The role is also responsible for ensuring suitable asset integrity practices are in place and that all training and competency requirements are met.
This is a site based role, where you will be required to be on site Monday to Friday with some on call work required outside of these times.
Encompassing a mix of site and office-based work, the post holder will be required to access all areas of site, including climbing stairs and ladders to access electrical equipment.
