Job summary

Hall & Kay is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead multiple concurrent projects in fire protection and security. You will manage a team of Operations Managers, Project Managers, Engineers, Supervisors and subcontractors, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and proactive commercial oversight.

You will drive programme controls, cost management, and client relationships to maximise profitability and secure long-term frameworks with end-user clients.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Construction/M&E/Building Services.
• Senior project management experience in the sprinkler industry.
• Leadership and people management experience with a large team.
• Proven delivery track record on multiple projects.
• Experience managing diverse scopes and clients.
• Strong written and verbal communication; problem-solving skills.
• Commercial and financial acumen; IT skills incl. Primavera/MS Project.
• FIA qualifications and client engagement experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver projects while leading a team of managers, engineers, supervisors and subcontractors.
• Ensure projects are commercially managed to protect profitability.
• Oversee programme, cost, quality and safety in line with standards.
• Develop relationships with key clients to secure repeat business.
• Identify opportunities with existing and new clients aligned to strategy.
• Meet financial targets with support from Commercial team.
• Lead project teams to comply with Health & Safety and QA standards.
• Conduct staff appraisals and development plans.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Engineering, Estimating and Support teams.
• Support contract negotiations prior to awards and drive innovations.
