Job summary

Hall & Kay is recruiting a senior Project Manager to lead multiple sprinkler and security projects from inception to delivery. You will manage Operations Managers, Project Managers, engineers, supervisors and subcontractors to ensure on-time, on-budget outcomes while safeguarding profitability.

You will develop client relationships, lead teams in compliant practices, and drive improvements in delivery methods and project controls across diverse clients.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Construction/M&E/Building Services.
• Comprehensive senior project management experience in the sprinkler industry.
• Leadership/people management experience with ability to develop a team.
• Proven track record of delivery across multiple projects.
• Experience managing diverse scope of works and clients.
• Clear and confident written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving, self-motivation and organisational ability.
• Commercial and financial skills; IT proficiency with Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint; familiar with Primavera/MS Project.
• FIA Qualifications.
• Client engagement and senior leadership experience with national accounts or large teams.
• Proven improvements and innovations in delivery methods and processes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver projects on time and within budget while leading a team of managers, supervisors and subcontractors.
• Oversee line management of a project team delivering works to clients.
• Regularly review programmes to control cost, quality and safety per policy.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients to secure repeat business.
• Identify and pursue opportunities with existing and new clients in line with strategy.
• Meet financial targets with support from Commercial team.
• Lead teams to comply with Health & Safety, QA and engineering standards.
• Ensure works comply with British Standards and codes of practice.
