Job summary

Mott MacDonald is seeking PMO professionals with broad PCM capability to support major construction and infrastructure projects. The role involves planning, cost and risk management, and integrated project controls across project lifecycles.

Travel to client sites is typical (2–3 days per week). The team operates within a supportive, inclusive environment, offering hybrid working options, and a clear path for professional growth in project controls across diverse sectors.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable expertise across planning, cost, risk and reporting within a Project Controls Management environment.
• Experience in consultancy, engineering, construction or major infrastructure environments.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret project performance measures and trends.
• Experience establishing and implementing project controls frameworks, processes and toolsets across complex projects.
• Willingness to travel 2-3 days per week, including overnight stays as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver planning, cost, risk, and reporting activities for major infrastructure projects.
• Apply an integrated project controls approach to governance, assurance, and performance management.
• Develop schedules and resource plans aligned with project requirements.
• Support project reviews and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders to drive actions.
