Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Project Controls Manager to lead a team responsible for time, cost, risk and change across high-profile infrastructure, transportation and energy schemes. You will report to senior leadership and ensure robust governance and timely reporting.

You will drive performance measurement, implement EVM where needed, and oversee change control and project health reviews with a collaborative, cross-disciplinary approach.

Qualifications

• Experience leading project controls on large-scale infrastructure or construction projects.
• Proven ability to supervise schedule, cost, risk, reporting and change management activities.
• Strong aptitude for coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and driving data-driven decisions.
• Knowledge of transport, energy, major infrastructure, or construction projects (NEC preferred).
• Project controls or project management qualification from APM or similar accrediting bodies.

Responsibilities

• Establish and manage PMB, KPIs, and data reporting to senior leaders.
• Develop and implement performance measurement systems (e.g., EVM) and periodic reporting.
• Lead change control processes, chair change forums, and coordinate impact assessments.
• Own monthly reporting, ensure accuracy and timeliness of the project review pack.
• Integrate data across schedule, cost, scope, quality, change and risk to present a clear project health picture.
• Mentor and, where needed, lead a Project Controls team to deliver results.
