Job summary

Mott MacDonald is seeking PMO/Controls professionals to join our Advisory and Programme Delivery unit on major construction and infrastructure programmes. You will apply planning, cost, risk and reporting disciplines to strengthen governance and improve delivery across projects.

The role requires travel to client sites (2–3 days per week, with occasional overnight stays) and a collaborative approach within multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise across planning, cost, risk and reporting within a Project Controls Management environment.
• Experience applying project controls principles across consultancy, engineering, construction or major infrastructure.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret project performance measures and trends from multiple data sources.
• Ability to identify issues, challenge constructively and drive mitigation actions.
• Experience establishing and implementing project controls frameworks across complex projects to improve delivery.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills to influence decisions at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Provide planning, cost, risk and reporting within a Project Controls Management environment.
• Apply project controls principles across consultancy, engineering, construction and/or major infrastructure environments.
• Analyze KPIs and trends across multiple data sources to support governance and decision-making.
• Identify issues early and drive appropriate mitigation and recovery actions.
• Develop and maintain schedules aligned with project requirements.
• Support governance, assurance and performance management throughout the project lifecycle.
