Job summary

Mott MacDonald is recruiting a PMO professional to support project controls across major infrastructure programs. The role emphasizes planning, cost and risk management, governance, and performance reporting. You will travel to client sites 2–3 days per week and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure successful delivery.

The role requires a degree and project controls qualifications alongside strong stakeholder management and a commitment to excellence.

Qualifications

• Security clearance may be required for this role.
• Willingness to travel to client sites 2–3 days per week, with overnight stays.
• Experience on large-scale infrastructure projects (water, transport, nuclear, defence).
• Degree level plus project controls qualification (APMG, EVM, PMQ, Prince2).
• Expertise across planning, cost, risk, health and safety, and quality.
• Knowledge of ARM, cost forecasting and EVM practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide integrated project controls across major infrastructure projects.
• Develop schedules and control frameworks to support governance and delivery.
• Analyse KPIs and performance trends to drive corrective actions.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and client stakeholders.
• Support project reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
