Job summary

Mott MacDonald Ltd. is seeking a Project Controls professional to join our Advisory and Programme Delivery (APD) team in the UK.

You will manage planning, cost, risk and performance reporting across large-scale infrastructure projects, working with multidisciplinary teams to deliver robust controls and governance. The role requires travel to client sites 2–3 days/week and a degree or equivalent qualification.

Qualifications

• Essential: degree level or equivalent
• Experience in project controls across consultancy, engineering, construction or major infrastructure
• Proven ability to apply project controls principles and practices
• Knowledge of risk management and reporting including ARM
• Proficiency with Primavera P6, MS Project or similar
• Ability to develop and maintain project schedules
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience in governance, assurance and performance reporting

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate expertise across planning, cost, risk and reporting within a Project Controls environment
• Apply project controls principles in consultancy, engineering, construction or major infrastructure
• Prepare and interpret project performance measures and KPIs across multiple data sources
• Identify issues and drive mitigation and recovery actions
• Establish and implement project controls frameworks across complex projects
• Engage stakeholders and influence decisions at all levels
• Support governance and reporting and drive improvements across the project lifecycle
