Job summary

Our Client is seeking a Project Controls Reporting Lead to shape reporting and data insights for a major UK energy infrastructure programme. You will drive accurate, timely reports and dashboards, translating complex data into actionable business insights.

You will interact with PMO, Digital, Project Controls and Programme Data teams, ensuring governance and consistency while leading continuous improvement across reporting cycles.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in a numerate discipline.
• Experience with large, complex project lifecycles.
• Experience with data lakes, interfaces and data extraction.
• Advanced Power BI knowledge: DAX and Power Query.
• Experience in Microsoft Azure SQL environments.
• Data analytics or data science capability.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in complex corporate environments.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of accurate, timely, and insightful project reporting.
• Produce monthly performance reports and stakeholder communications.
• Collaborate with PMO, Digital, Project Controls and Programme Data teams.
• Maintain reporting governance and adherence to reporting cycles.
• Monitor, validate and improve project data quality and consistency.
• Analyse project data to identify trends, risks and forecasts.
• Develop dashboards and visualisations using Power BI.
• Translate complex data into actionable business insights.
• Build strong relationships across programme stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement and reporting best practice.
