Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking a Project Controls Manager (PMCM: Programme Solutions) to lead cost, schedule and risk controls across large rail and infrastructure programmes. You will work with a multi-disciplinary team, driving reporting rigor and data-driven decision making in a hybrid UK environment.

The role emphasises governance, supplier management, and proactive bid support, with opportunities to grow towards Chartered status while delivering landmark projects.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of project controls across complex rail/infrastructure projects.
• Experience delivering cost, schedule and risk reporting for multi-disciplinary projects.
• Proven ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams and manage client relations.
• Experience using Power BI and Power Query for reporting and planning.
• Pathway to Chartered status or Chartered Membership sought.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Controls function on multiple projects to align with schedule, cost, change, and risk management.
• Engage with the supply base and ensure timely delivery of cost, progress and programming information.
• Provide technical support and problem solving across the PM&C portfolio for planning and controls.
• Promote best-practice project administration to deliver accurate forecasting and cost control.
• Assist with resource planning and capacity planning to meet project commitments.
