Job summary

WSP Global Inc. is seeking a Senior Commercial Manager in the PMCM Rail Team to oversee commercial governance, financial control and risk across large rail programmes in the UK.

You will partner with client Project Managers and delivery teams to safeguard commercial performance and ensure contract compliance throughout the project lifecycle. This hybrid role offers flexible office and site engagement with a central UK base.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or related discipline.
• Professional accreditation or progress towards it (MRICS or MCIOB).
• Extensive rail, transport infra commercial management experience.
• Experience delivering major client-side or consultancy projects.
• Knowledge of NEC3/NEC4 and rail industry practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead key client and stakeholder relationships as trusted commercial advisor.
• Prepare monthly cost, commercial and risk reports.
• Oversee contract governance and client procedures.
• Manage budgets, forecasting, and cost reporting.
• Negotiate terms with suppliers and contractors with client teams.
• Monitor risk and drive mitigation strategies.
• Lead change management and variations.
