Job summary

WSP in the PMCM Rail team seeks a Project Manager based in the UK who will enable delivery of complex rail projects of regional, national and international significance while ensuring safety, quality and budget.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, coordinate client interfaces, manage contracts (NEC3 & 4), plans, risks and budgets, and report progress to senior managers, with site visits and a minimum three days in the office.

Qualifications

• A degree in a relevant engineering or management discipline.
• Chartered membership of a relevant professional body, or nearing completion would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating relevant disciplines through project meetings and target-led workshops.
• Establishing robust processes and procedures to manage the project with the client’s team.
• Acting as primary point of contact for client, ensuring needs are met through design and construction.
• Developing and managing client and stakeholder relationships through effective listening and influencing.
• Compiling monthly project reports and data-based scenarios for senior managers.
• Managing contract in accordance with NEC3 and NEC4 rules of engagement.
• Managing project budgets, cost estimation, tracking and reporting.
• Driving safety performance and CDM compliance on site.
