Job summary

Assystem is seeking a Senior Project Controls Manager to lead project controls across a nuclear power plant project, ensuring integrated controls, governance, and timely reporting. You will mentor the team, drive estimating accuracy, and align schedules with risk data across EcoSYS, P6, and ARM.

The role requires a degree in a relevant field and extensive experience in project controls, with a preference for nuclear industry exposure and major construction background.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent qualification in project management, project controls, engineering, or related field.
• Experience in a Project Management environment with project controls expertise.
• Expert knowledge of Estimating and techniques for project insight and performance assessment.
• Experience on major construction projects and in nuclear or highly regulated industries desirable.

Responsibilities

• Produce and maintain accurate forecasts aligned with CBS/WBS.
• Assure quality of project controls data across tools like EcoSYS, P6, ARM.
• Deliver reports on a defined cycle with clear commentary on drivers and risks.
• Challenge major issues impacting programme objectives and propose resolutions.
• Lead Estimating management and training for teams and apprentices.
• Collaborate with IPC to ensure schedules and cost estimates are informed by risk data.
